Never used this blade on my cordless so I don't know how that would work, but I would guess as soon as the blade slows down the project gets to be a real tedious. You must remember this blade cuts less material so you are working a lot slower, as in really slow when compared to the other blades. I attached this thing to my "Saw Boss" which has "9" amp motor. I buzzed through plywood, 2X4's and an assortment of stuff with little effort. I made excellent clean cuts with no problems at all, but then again the Saw Boss pulls "9" amps so it does not slow down for much.
I needed a blade to rip some plywood cleanly and the price was right. As I was purchasing this, the salesman raised his eyebrows and expressed some doubt about the blade.
However, given that the person I bought the blade from had expressed doubts, I think it's the blade. The thing ended up being virtually useless.
He was right. To be fair, I guess it is possible that the problem resides with my particular PC cordless circular saw (it's refurbished) and that the problem is not the blade.
I actually picked this up at my local tool store. I thought that with this blade I could avoid the hassle of my corded circular saw.
The cuts took forever and the saw screeched like a stuck pig as I tried to push it through the plywood.
